Connections (basic styles)
Step-by-step connections
1 Connect headphones to one of the PHONES terminals on the
front panel.
2 Connect an output device such as a power amplifier to the
[MASTER 1] or [MASTER 2] terminals.
•
To use a booth monitor, connect it to the [
BOOTH
] terminals.
•
To use an input device such as a microphone or DJ player, connect the device to the
[
CH 1
] or [
CH 2
] terminals and set the [
LINE/PHONO
] selector switch to the relevant
setting.
3 Connect a PC/Mac to the unit with a USB cable.
4 Turn the PC/Mac on.
5 Connect the AC adapter to the unit.
6 Turn the unit on.
•
The “Getting Windows ready” massage may appear if you’re using a PC (Windows).
Wait until the PC gets ready.
7 Turn on the device connected to the [MASTER 1] or [MASTER
2] terminals.
•
If you use an input device such as a microphone or DJ player, turn the device on.
