Operating Manual: PSS 3075-3 Series
Programming device interface (“PG”)
The programming device interface is a combined RS 232/RS 485 interface.
Both interfaces are available on a male 9-pin D-Sub connector. The
interface enables communication between the programming device and
the PSS.
The termination can be activated via links within the connector (see Fig.
8-3 in the section entitled “RS 485 programming device interface”).
NOTICE
Never operate the combined RS 232 and RS 485 interface simultaneously
or in parallel. The programmable safety system is not designed for this.
