The Concorde¥4500 uses the PowerMic

 

 

, a domed circular 

microphone that is placed on your conference room table. It 
connects to the back of the electronics module. You can use more 
than one PowerMic if you have a large conference room. In fact, you 
can serially connect up to four PowerMics for use with your system. 
The PowerMic is packaged with its own documentation, which 
describes how to install and use it. 

The PowerMic equalizes sound. Loud voices, soft voices, and even 
whispers are picked up and transmitted to the far end at 
approximately the same volume.

If you choose to walk around the room during a videoconference, 
you may want to use the optional lapel microphone.
