4. No firewall should be active on the network adapter where the Photonfocus GigE camera
is connected. If the Windows Firewall is used then it can be switched off like this: Open
the Windows Firewall configuration (
Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet
Connections -> Windows Firewall
) and click on the Advanced tab. Uncheck the network
where your camera is connected in the
Network Connection Settings
(see Fig. 3.7).
