Solution
The remote control does not
function properly.
• Reduce the distance between the remote control and the
set.
• Insert the batteries with their polarities (+/- signs) aligned
as indicated.
• Replace the batteries.
• Point the remote control directly towards the IR sensor.
The WAC3500 Center's screen
is stuck in a menu or shows no
response for a long period of
time (2-5 minutes).
First try to press
y
to enter the power saving mode. If the
problem persists, disconnect and reconnect the power plug
to restart the WAC3500.
'No Disc'/ 'Cannot read CD' is
displayed.
• Insert a suitable disc.
• Check if the disc is inserted with graphic printed side
facing up.
• Wait for the moisture condensation on the lens to clear.
• Replace or clean the disc, see
1.5 Maintenance

• Use a finalized CD-RW or CD-R.
Sound cannot be heard or is of
poor quality.
• Adjust the volume.
• Disconnect the headphones.
• Deactivate
MUTE
.
• Connect the speakers properly.
The disc skips tracks.
• Replace or clean the disc.
• Deactivate
SHUFFLE
.
Sound skips during MP3/WMA
playback.
• The MP3 / WMA file may be made at a compression level
exceeding 320kbps. Use a lower compression level to rip
audio CD tracks.
• Replace or clean disc.
Some files on the USB device
are not displayed.
• Only completely recorded MP3 / WMA files can be found
and played by WAC3500. Check if the file has been
recorded completely.
• DRM-protected WMA files cannot be played on
WAC3500.
Radio reception is poor
• If the signal is too weak, adjust the antenna or connect an
external antenna for better reception.
• Increase the distance between the set and your TV or
VCR.
There is interference on the
radio reception whenever the
Center is near my PC.
Such interference happens to
most built-in tuner products.
• Install the supplied FM wire antenna for better reception.
• Keep the Center at least 1 meter away from your PC.
Some WADM functions cannot
be used.
Your anti-virus software might affect the running of the
WADM.Turn off your anti-virus software temporarily.
