DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. It is a protocol for assigning dynamic IP
addresses to devices on a network.
If there is not DHCP, the following steps show how to get DNS and Gateway settings of the
current network from the PC connected to the same network:
On your PC, Click
Start
>
Run
Type
cmd
and click
OK
Type
ipconfig/all
Write down the DNS and Gateway of the current connection.
On Center
Press
MENU
to enter the menu screen.
Use
