Caution
- Do not use the appliance outdoors or near heated surfaces or heat
sources.
- This appliance contains an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery
pack. Do not incinerate, disassemble or expose to high temperatures
above 50°C (122°F). Do not operate or charge the appliance at

regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic fields.
- This is a Class IIa medical appliance. It meets the requirements of
Medical Device Directive MDD 93/42/EEC and 2007/47/EC for
medical appliances.
- This is not a general illumination product.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Portable and mobile radio frequency communication equipment, such as
mobile phones, cordless telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies, and
wireless home network devices (routers), can affect the Philips EnergyUp.
They must therefore not be used in close proximity to the EnergyUp.
If this cannot be avoided, the EnergyUp must be observed to verify normal
operation. If abnormal performance (e.g. loss of functionality, light inconsistency,
flicker) is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as re-
orientation of the radio frequency communication equipment or the EnergyUp
(see section ‘EMC information’ in chapter ‘Specifications’ for more details).
