Connecting the audio cables
This connection enables you to listen to
the sound. This connection is not
required if the recorder is connected to
the TV using the SCART cable.
Option 1: Using an audio cable
You can connect the recorder to a two
channel stereo system or receiver to
enjoy the stereo sound system.
Connect an audio cable (red/white - not
supplied) from the
AUDIO L/R
sockets
to the audio input sockets of the
connected device.

Option 2: Using a coaxial cable
You can connect the recorder to an AV
amplifi er/receiver with a digital
multichannel sound decoder to enjoy
multichannel surround sound.
Connect a coaxial cable (not supplied).

COAXIAL DIGITAL OUT
socket to the digital coaxial input socket
of the receiver/ amplifi er (or labelled as
COAXIAL IN or DIGITAL IN).
Helpful Hint:
– Before you start operating, set the
appropriate audio output settings. Otherwise,
no sound or noise interference may occur.
