The following settings are available:
Validity
period
To select how long your MMS will be
stored on the server, from
1 day
to
Maximum
. This is useful when the
recipient is not connected to the
network (and thus cannot receive your
message immediately).
Check with your operator what the
Maximum
value is.
Delivery
report
This option can be set
On
or
Off
and
informs you (via an SMS) of the status
the MMS you have sent (i.e., if it was
read or deleted).
MMS
retrieve
Allows you to choose from:
Auto download:
received MMS are
automatically placed in the
Inbox
.
Select one, press
R
Options
, then
View
to play it.
Deferred retrieve
: you connect
manually to the server by selecting a
notification in the
Inbox
, then
View
to
download and play it.
Rejected
: all incoming MMS are
rejected, preventing you from
receiving them.
Allow info
receiving
This option can be set
On
or
Off
and
notifies you of incoming MMS.
Allow spam
This option can be set
On
or
Off
and
allows you to receive automatic
advertising MMS from the network.
Allow
roaming
reception
This option can be set
On
or
Off
and
allows you to receive MMS even when
your mobile phone is registered to a
network other than your own (e.g.,
when you’re abroad).
MMS
profile
Allows you to choose from one of the
available profiles. Press
L
Active
to
activate the selected profile, or
R
Edit
to change its settings (name, IP
address and port, etc.). See “Network”
page 23 for details about profiles
settings.
