Predefined text
This menu allows you to display the predefined texts
and to create new ones that you will then be able to
automatically insert in an SMS.
Predefined texts are limited to 35 characters.
Inbox
This menu lists all the SMS you have received. Select
an item and press
R
Options
to be able to
Delete
or
View
the selected SMS,
Reply
to your
correspondent,
Forward
the message to someone or
Edit
it, display the
Detail
of the message. The last
option allows you to
Delete all
items of the list at once.
Draft
This menu lists all the SMS you have saved but not
sent. The options available are
Delete
,
View
,
Forward
,
Edit
or
Delete all
.
Outbox
This menu lists all the SMS you have sent, then saved.
The options available are the same as in the
Draft
folder.
This menu will not show messages that have been sent
but not saved.
SMS setup
This menu allows you to set a maximum of 5 profiles
to manage different SMS settings. Select one of the
available profiles and press
L
Activate
, or press
R
Options,
then
Change
to access the following
settings:
Insert text
To access the list of predefined texts
(see “Predefined text” page 28 for
details) and insert one in the SMS.
Add number
To insert a phone number within
the message.
Add email
address
To insert an Email address within
the message.
Service centre
To enter the phone number of your
SMS Service center. This number is
provided to you by your operator.
Message type
To select the type of message that
will be handled (Normal, fax,
pager, etc.)
