PART 1: IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
1) Carefully unpack the product, and take care not to throw away any part of the packaging material before
you have found all parts of the product.
2) This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with physical or mental disabilities or by
inexperienced persons, unless properly trained or schooled in the safe use of the appliance, or unless they
have been properly supervised by a qualifi ed person who will be responsible for their safety.
3) Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4) Never use accessories that have not been delivered with this product or are not intended for it.
5) Under no circumstances should you try to repair or alter the appliance on your own — danger of electric
shock! Entrust all repairs and adjustments to a specialised company/service. If you open the product during
the warranty period, you run the risk of voiding the warranty.
6) Store and use the appliance away from fl ammable or volatile materials.
7) Keep the product away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Do not keep it
in a dusty environment.
8) Do not place the product near heaters, open fi res or other appliances or equipment that are sources of heat.
9) This appliance is designed for household use. Do not use it in industrial surroundings or outdoors!
10) Do not use the product for purposes other than those intended.
11) Before connecting this product to an electrical outlet, make sure the voltage stated on the label of the
product corresponds to the voltage in your wall socket.
12) Do not place the power cord near hot surfaces, or over sharp objects. Do not place heavy objects on the
power cord. Position the cord so that it will not be stepped on or tripped over. Make sure the power cord is
not touching any hot surface.
13) If the appliance‘s power cord is damaged, have it replaced by authorised service or qualifi ed person to
prevent hazards. It is forbidden to use a product with a damaged power cord or plug.
14) Do not disconnect the electrical plug from the wall outlet by pulling on the cord.
15) Do not use the appliance if the stainless steel strainer is damaged.
16) Do not submerge the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
17) If you are not using the product, or if you know that you will not be using it soon, turn it off and disconnect
the power cord from the wall socket. Prior to cleaning, proceed in the same manner.
18) Never leave the appliance switched on without supervision.
19) Use extra care if the product is used near children. Always keep the product out of the reach of children.
20) While the product is operating, never place your hand or any foreign object into the fi lling port.
21) Do not push ingredients into the fi lling port with your fi ngers or with any utensil. Always use the plunger
provided.
22) Be careful when handling the stainless steel strainer, because the blade on its bottom is very sharp.
Careless handling can cause injuries.
23) The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use of this appliance or its accessories.
Such damages include food spoilage, injuries, burns, scalding, fi re, etc.
This symbol indicates that the device has double insulation between the dangerous mains voltage
and the parts accessible to the user. In the case of servicing use only identical spare parts.
