INSTALLATION
Install Tip
Devices must be activated through the online portal before device will
connect. Go to
2.1 Mounting the Enclosure
Each Phase Connect device comes with external mounting brackets and two sets of
screws. Use the larger screws to fasten the mounting brackets to the enclosure as shown
below.

The Phase Connect enclosure should be mounted to a solid, non-flammable surface using
the mounting brackets provided. It should be installed in a location free from:
•
Corrosive gases or liquids
•
Excessive vibration
•
Airborne metallic particles
2.2 Antenna
Screw the antenna to the magnetic base and connect the antenna cable to the connector at
the bottom right corner of the device circuit board (see
on next page). The
antenna should be mounted upright, to a magnetic surface, in open air. Do not mounting
the antenna inside a metallic enclosure. Metal will reflect radio frequency signals and
reduce signal strength. Antenna wire should be routed separately from power cables.
