3.1 Detect VFD Fault
To set up the device to detect a VFD fault on a Phase Technologies drive, connect wires as
shown in
PROGRAM RELAY 1
to
“0 = SYSTEM FAULT”
on VFD.
When the VFD has a fault,
AUX 1
will be shown in the
CLOSED
position on the portal
Dashboard
. The label of
AUX 1
can be changed on the
Config
page of the portal.

Be sure to make sure your VFD settings are set up properly for the chosen operation.
3.2 Monitor VFD Run Status
To set up the device to detect when a Phase Technologies VFD is running a load, connect
wires as shown in
PROGRAM RELAY 2
to
“5 = MINIMUM
FREQUENCY”
on VFD.
When the VFD is running,
AUX2
will be shown in the
CLOSED
position on the portal
Dashboard
. The label of
AUX 2
can be changed on the
Config
page of the portal.
