Hook shaft bearing and toothed belt tension
Requirement
The front edge of the hook shaft

must be at a distance of
14.5 mm
to the needle
center. At the same time, the slot in the hook shaft bearing

(see arrow) must be
parallel to the bedplate and pointing opposite to the direction of sewing.
The toothed belt should be tightened in such a way that, when the gauge is pushed

onto the toothed belt, the marking in the gauge window corresponds to the marking
on the bushing.
