Removal
1. Raise the seat; electric seat lift to the highest
position; fixed seat tube to the service position.
See page 34. If the electric seat lift does
not work normally because the batteries
are discharged or the adjustment device is
defective, the seat can be raised/lowered
manually. See page 31.
2.
Switch off the main power switch on the
control panel.
3.
Remove the chassis covers. See page 8-9.
4.
Lift up and chock up the wheelchair chassis so
that the wheel in question is free of the ground.
5.
Remove the drive wheel. See page 18.
6.
Separate the magnetic brake and drive motor
cabling at the contacts on the cabling. These
are positioned on the inside of the chassis,
next to the seat lift. (see fig.). The contacts are
mounted together in a holder.
7.
Run the connection cables out through the
chassis cable duct.
8.
Remove the drive motor, it’s fitted with four
screws (see fig.).
The contacts are mounted together in a holder.
For this task the following tools are necessary:
1 Allen key 5 mm.
1 Allen key 6 mm.
