Chromion Installation and Operation
1. Locate the folder in which the Chromion setup.exe is located.
2. Double-click setup.exe to begin the installation. Follow the instructions on the screen.
A shortcut icon for Chromion will automatically be installed on the desktop when the
installation program is completed.
3. Double-click the
Chromion
icon to launch the software.
If the Windows firewall is running the following screen may appear the first time that
Chromion is opened.
4. Select Allow access to allow the software to connect to the instrument. Selecting Cancel
will continue to block connection of the instrument to the computer.
CAUTION
Methods created w ith Chromion Version 1 RC4 and before are
not properly configured to run performance validation on the
Torion T-9 instrument. To make them compatible open a
method in Chromion and then open Performance Validation.
Unlock the form by entering the passw ord. Click the mini
toolbar icon Reset Performance Validation to Default Values
then follow the prompts on the screen to update the method.

ATTENTION
Les méthodes créées avec les versions précédentes de Chromion
peuvent ne pas être correctement configurées pour exécuter la
validation de performance sur l'instrument Torion T-9 GC / MS-9.
Pour les rendre compatibles, ouvrez la méthode, puis ouvrez l'écran
Validation de performance et exécutez la Validation de performance
de réinitialisation aux paramètres par défaut en appuyant sur le
bouton Réinitialiser la validation des performances vers les
paramètres par défaut, puis suivez les instructions à l'écran pour
mettre à jour la méthode. Pour plus de détails, reportez-vous à la
section Validation des performances de ce manuel.
