PTMC Ethernet Ports
Two PTMC Configuration 2 mezzanine sites are provided on the CPC324. Each site provides
support for MAC based RMII interfaces and 10/100/1000Base-T interfaces.
The interface is selected by user switch SW1 positions 4, 5, and 6, described in
Table 3-2,
“SW1 Settings,” on page 60
. See
Figure 3-1, “CPC324 Switch Locations,” on page 59
for
switch locations. These switch settings control the RMII and 10/100/1G Ethernet data path
mux. The database mux establishes connectivity to and from the on-board Ethernet switch
ports 2 and 3 to PTMC A and PTMC B respectively. Note that switch port 3 can be redirected to
PTMC A to provide two ports of 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet connectivity. See
Table 3-3,
“PTMC A /B Ethernet Port Configuration Options,”
below.
