Establish network access at the device

9.2.1

Main menu



Network

Based on the network topology, the corresponding numeric blocks for IP-
address, gateway and subnetmask must be assigned under the Network menu
item.

The specified numeric blocks are only exemplary; they must correspond to
the network topology!

9.2.2

IP-address

The transmission occurs via a static IP address; this must be assigned manually. The devices are not DHCP-enabled (automatic
assignment of an IP address). If multiple devices are installed in a network, each device must be assigned its own IP address.

9.2.3

Gateway

The gateway enables the connection of different computer networks with different network protocols.

9.2.4

Subnetmask

All network participants should use the same subnetmask.
