ULTRAHOOK UHR40 VEHICLE RESTRAINT
No other inside lights must be illuminated. Confi rm that the dock leveler will only function when the restraint has
engaged the truck rear impact guard.
8. To unhook the vehicle, turn the “ULTRAHOOK” 3-position selector switch to the “DISENGAGE” position. The inside
red light must illuminate. The hook must then move a short distance outward to clear the rear impact guard and
then down. Once the hook is clear of the rear impact guard and is fully tilted down, the hook must then retract and
return to the stored position. When the hook has fully returned to the stored position, the outside green light must
illuminate. No other inside lights must be illuminated.
The above steps describe and confi rm the correct operation of this important piece of safety equipment. If the unit you
have does not meet the requirements listed above, discontinue its use and/or repair it immediately. See the TROUBLE
SHOOTING GUIDE section on page 25 to correct the problems or contact your Pentalift representative for any
required assistance.
9. Replace burnt out light bulbs on the control panel or defective LED modules immediately.
10. Clean pit of debris.
