7.3. THERMAL SAFETY SHUTDOWN
Important
To protect the tool, when used intensively for a long period of time, a maximum power is limited when the
temperature of the tool is too high.
When the tool temperature rises too high, check that:
1. The motor protective casing is clean.
2. The length and diameter of the strimmer wire are suitable.
3. The vegetation is adapted to the tool (check the type of vegetation, the height of the vegetation, etc.).
When the temperature of the tool has
reached 85°C:
• "C°" flashes alternately with the battery life on the dig-
ital display of the handle.
• The power gradually decreases and is then limited.
When the temperature of the tool drops
below 80°C:
• The power gradually increases until it reaches the level
you selected.
When the tool continues to heat up:
1. The error message "E4" appears on the handle dis-
play of the tool.
2. The battery emits 1 long beep.
3. The battery emits 4 short beeps.
4. The battery and the tool switch off.
