Movement to be performed
• Move the grass strimmer in half circles from left
to right.
• Keep the cutting head parallel to the ground.
• Do not put the cutting head in contact with the
ground.
Direction of progression
• The operator should always walk forward.
5.7.2. STRIMMING ON SLOPES
Important
Before starting to mow on a slope, make sure you
are stable on the ground.
1. Position yourself at the base of the slope.
2. Define a strip parallel to the slope that spans the
width of the work area.

Movement to be performed
• Move the grass strimmer from the higher side of
the slope to the lower side of the slope.
• The cut grass will fall towards the downside.
• This will prevent the cutting head from rotating in
grass that has already been cut.
• Do not put the cutting head in contact with the
ground.
Direction of progression
• The operator must always walk forward, following
the strip defined at the start of the work.
• When the strip is finished, the user goes back and
starts a new strip.
