Fuel filling
Fill the fuel tank up to the filler neck. Do not
overfill. Use a clean, fresh, lead-free fuel with the
minimum octane rating of 92. The use of a leaded
fuel increases the amount of gum residue and
reduces a service life of engine valves. Do not
mix the engine oil with the fuel. We recommend
buying the fuel considering using it for 30 days.
If the fuel is spilled, remove the cutter from the
place of leakage. Avoid possible ignition sources
until the fuel vapor is completely vanished. Wipe
dry the spilled oil or the fuel. Do not store the
fuel or fill the tank near an open flame. Drain
the fuel from the tank if you want to prepare the
snowcutter to a long term storage. Drain the fuel
from the tank, start the engine and let it work until
the fuel line and the carburetor are empty. Fill the
fuel tank with a clean fuel in the next season. Do
not fill the fuel tank with any engine or carburetor
cleaning agents.
Maintenance regulation
• Change the engine and hydraulic oil once a
year at the beginning of the season.
• Lubricate the snowcutter chain after every use
of the snowcutter or after every long downtime.
• Lubricate the cutter rotor bearings using grease
cups after every use of the snowcutter.
