Boot Kit Installation (cont.)

Lift the deck discharge chute and position the assembled Boot between the two mounting brackets on the mower’s 
deck, refer to Figure B. Secure the boot plate by using (1) Boot Rod (Item #1) and (1) Hair Pin Clip (Item #2). Close 
any gaps between the boot and the mower deck by adjusting the position of the Boot and the Boot Plate. Tighten all 
hardware once the Boot has been correctly positioned. Refer to Figure C for a fully positioned Boot.
