Do not store the brush cutter in enclosed areas where fuel vapours can come into
contact with open flames, e.g., from water heaters, furnaces, etc. Store the brush cutter
only in a well ventilated and locked room.
Ensure safe and proper operation of your brush cutter. The original parts are available
from your authorized dealer. Use of any other accessories or attachments can result in a
potential risk of injury to the operator or damage to the brush cutter, and void the
guarantee for this product.
Always clean the brush cutter completely, especially the exhaust muffler its surrounding
area and the air filter.
Before refuelling the fuel tank, stop the engine and let it cool down. Never refuel the
brush cutter when the engine is running or if it is hot. If fuel is spilled, thoroughly clean up
and remove all the spilled fuel and properly dispose of the materials used for cleaning
before starting the engine. When restarting the brush cutter, move it at least 3 meters
away from the area of the fuel spillage to avoid igniting fuel vapours.
Keep a distance of at least 15 meters/50 feet from other workers and bystanders.
If you need for any reason to approach the operator working with the brush cutter,
carefully attract their attention and make sure that they have stopped the engine. Be
careful not to startle or distract the operator’s attention, which could result in an unsafe
situation.
Never touch the string cutting head or cutting blades when the engine is running. If the
protective guard or cutting attachment needs to be changed, always stop the engine and
make sure the cutting tool has stopped.
When moving between working areas, the engine must always be stopped.
Be careful to avoid hitting the string cutting head against stones or the ground.
Unreasonable rough handling will shorten the service life of the brush cutter and also
create an unsafe environment for yourself and the persons around you.
Pay attention to parts loosening and overheating. If you notice any abnormal behaviour
of the brush cutter, immediately stop work and thoroughly check the brush cutter. If
necessary, have the brush cutter serviced by an authorized service workshop. Never
continue working with a brush cutter which shows signs of malfunctioning.
Never touch any hot parts such as the exhaust muffler, high-voltage wire or spark plug
when starting the engine or while the engine is running.
The exhaust muffler remains hot even after the engine has stopped. Never put the brush
cutter in any areas where flammable materials (dry grass, etc.), combustible gasses or
liquids are present.
Pay special attention when working in the rain or shortly after rain has stopped as the
ground could be slippery.
If you slip or fall to the ground or into a hole, immediately release the throttle lever.
Be careful to avoid hitting the brush cutter against any obstacles.
Before performing any adjustments or repairs, stop the engine and disconnect the cable
from the spark plug. Never leave the brush cutter with a running engine unattended.
If the brush cutter is to be stored for a long period, make sure the engine has cooled
down, drain fuel from the fuel tank and carburettor, clean its parts and store the brush
cutter in a safe place.
To ensure safe and efficient operation, perform daily inspections of the brush cutter
before each use. These inspections must also be performed if the brush cutter was
