MAINTENANCE AND CARE
AIR FILTER
An air filter fouled with dust reduces engine power, increases fuel consumption and allows
abrasive particles to enter the engine. The interval between air filter cleaning is 8-10
operating hours.
Push down the latch and open the filter cover (a). Release the air filter cover and remove
the filter insert (b). Light dust settled on the filter inset surface can easily be removed by
tapping or blowing (do not use pressured air) the filter insert. Thick dust must be removed
by washing the filter insert using a suitable detergent.
