b.
Check the operation and condition of the guard return spring. If the guard and spring are not functioning proper-
ly, they should be serviced before use.
The guard may operate slowly due to damaged components, sticky depo-
sits, or debris build-up.
c.
Make sure the saw shoe will not drift when making a „plunge cut“.
Deflection of the blade will cause seizure
and possibly recoil.
d.
Always make sure the blade guard covers the blade before placing the saw on a workbench or floor. An unpro-
tected blade that continues to operate by inertia will pull the saw back, cutting through anything in its path.
Be aware
of the time it takes for the blade to stop after the switch is released.
Additional Warnings:
Do not use with abrasive wheels
Use only blade diameters that conform to the markings
Be sure to identify the correct saw blade to use for the material being cut;
Only use saw blades marked with a speed greater than or equal to the speed marked on the tool.
Only use saw blades recommended by the manufacturer and conforming to EN 847-1 if they are intended for
wood and similar materials;
Replacement of the power cable is necessary, this must be done by the manufacturer or his agent to avoid a
danger
6) Specific matters relating to lasers
Turn on the laser when necessary. Always switch off the laser if you are not using the device.
Never look directly into the laser beam. Injuries could be the result if you look directly into the laser. Please note
the following rules:
1.
The laser must be used and maintained as specified by the manufacturer. Never aim a laser at persons or
objects other than the one being processed.
2.
The laser should not be held on other persons and should not be aimed at the eye of another person for
more than 0.25 seconds.
3.
Always make sure that the laser is aimed at the work object without this being reflected, for example,
wood or rough surface are acceptable. Smooth and glossy surfaces such as stainless steel or similar are
not suitable for laser applications because the glossy surface could redirect the laser beam onto the user.
4.
Do not change the laser without authorization. Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or
qualified specialist personnel.
