Refilling oil
To ensure that the tool remains operational for
a long time, it must have a sufficient supply of
pneumatic oil .
You have the following options
♦ Attach a maintenance unit with an oiler to the
compressor .
♦ Install a fitted oiler into the compressed-air line
or the compressor .
♦ Add 3–5 drops of pneumatic oil into the
connector nipple after every 15 minutes of
operation .
Connecting to a compressed-air
source
NOTE
► Before connecting the compressed-air source
–
the correct working pressure (3–6 .8 bar)
must be fully reached, and
–
you must ensure that the trigger is in the
upper position
► Use only connection hoses with an internal
diameter of at least 9 mm .
► Use only filtered, lubricated and regulated
compressed air .
♦ Attach the tool to a compressor by connecting
the connector nipple with the supply hose of
the compressed-air source .
CAUTION!
► Ensure that the compressed-air hose is firmly
attached . A loose hose can thrash about
uncontrollably causing grave danger . Likewise,
ensure the firm seat of the two screw connec-
tions between the coupling piece and the tool .
♦ The compressed-air source must be equipped
with a pressure reducer so that you can regulate
the air pressure .

WARNING!
► Avoid eye and skin contact with lubricants .
NOTE
► The connection with the compressed-air
source is made using a flexible com-
pressed-air hose with a quick coupler .
Inserting a bit or drill
♦ Open the wheel-rim chuck using the
wrench .
♦ Now insert the drill as deeply as possible into
the wheel-rim chuck .
♦ To clamp the tool, close the wheel-rim chuck
using the wrench . Ensure the tool is firmly
attached .
Switching on and off
Switching on
♦ Press the trigger to turn the tool on .
Switching off
♦ Release the trigger .
♦ When you have finished working, disconnect
the tool from the compressed-air source .
