Selection of the drive:
The datasheet shows a torque sensitivity of 37.5 Nm/Arms. This means that the drive
has to provide at least 4500/37.5=106 Arms.
In order to obtain an acceleration torque of
5000 Nm
, the current will be of about 133

(the motor data sheet shows 5190 Nm with 139 Arms). This means that the drive has
to provide at least 133 Arms as transient current.
Therefore, we can select the drive

126*110%=138 Arms as maximal transient current during 60 s.
Under these conditions, the drive must run with
“Quadratic as Servo Mode”.
The example n°3 illustrates the situation where the motor observes a “derating” mode
