Assembly
Begin reassembly
WARNING
Install the Dust Seal
(D&W)
Install Shaft Seal
Install Output Shaft
Endcover O-rings
Install Shaft End Cover

Begin motor reassembly on a
stable work surface or within a
vice. Wipe all parts of the motor
body down before reassembly
to ensure all debris and paint
chips are removed. (Figure 26)
If the motor is not firmly held
stable or in the vise, it could
tip over during the service
procedures, causing injury.
Place the dust seal onto the
output shaft endcover. With
a rubber mallet, lightly tap
it in until it fits flush with the
endcover. (Figure 27)
Using an arbor press, install the
shaft seal to the output shaft
cover. (Figure 28)
Install the new O-ring into the
output shaft cover. Press down
with fingers to ensure the O-ring
is fully seated. (Figure 29)
With the output shaft facing
you, install the shaft endcover.
(Figure 30)
Be sure not to roll or pinch the
O-rings as you place the output
shaft endcover over the shaft
itself.
