Disassembly and Inspection
Remove Output Shaft
Cover
Remove O-rings from
Output Shaft Cover
Remove Shaft Seal
Remove Dust Seal
(D&W)
NOTE

Use a small screwdriver to pry
off the output shaft endcover.
(Figure 21)
Remove the O-ring from the
output shaft cover. This will be
the larger O-ring. (Figure 22)
Remove the shaft seal from
the output shaft cover with an
arbor press. If you do not have
an arbor press, you can use a
flathead screwdriver and rubber
mallet to push out the seal
(Figure 23)
Remove the dust seal (D&W)
from the output shaft cover with
an arbor press. If you do not
have an arbor press, you can
use a flathead screwdriver and
rubber mallet to push out the
seal. (Figure 24)
Do not damage the seperating
flange. Make sure the tool is
clearly below the cast flange
that separates the dust seal and
the shaft seal. (Figure 25)
