First Stage of SHOOTING
The first phase of the SHOOTING will be done on the ground, it will last around 2 hours:
with an operation cycle of 14: 30 minutes and the next cycle of another 15 minutes, in
which we will allow the engine to cool down.
With the help of an RPM tachometer and a stopwatch, follow the indications to the effect of
the first sequence:
- 4000 Rpm -> 4 min, stop at idle = 1 min
- 5000 Rpm -> 3 min, stop at idle = 1 min
- 6000 Rpm -> 2 min, stop at idle = 1 min
- 7000 Rpm -> 1 min, stop at idle = 1 min
- 8000 Rpm -> 30 seg, then stop the engine and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Repeat the same as described above for 4 times.
At the end of the last phase (series - cycle), stop the engine and check the spark plug.
When the engine is completely cold, make the first adjustment of the cylinder head nuts to
a force of 16 - 17 N / m.
