Setting the Criteria for Automatic Backup

Procedure

1.

Enable Auto Backup.

Main Menu

→

Configuration

→

Auto Backup Criteria

When a failure occurs, the unit automatically enables the Alternate Link and traffic 
is rerouted over the backup (alternate) interface.

2.

Specify When Auto Backup Allowed – Always or Restrict. If Restrict is selected, 
specify the days and hours of the week during which automatic backup can take 
place.

3.

Save the configuration.
