When you enter information on your keypad, it will guide you with
beep tones to communicate acceptance or rejection of your entries.
Confirmation Beep
: When an operation (i.e. arming/disarming) is
successfully entered or when the system switches to a new status/
menu, your keypad will emit intermittent beep tones

Half Beep
: When a step of an operation is successfully entered on
the keypad, it will emit short intermittent beep tones (“

Rejection Beep
: When reverting to a previous status, or when an
operation is incorrectly entered, your keypad will emit a continuous

”).

For this keypad, the state of the “Status”, “AC”, and “Action” lights
(see figure 1 on page 4) represent a specific condition in your
system.

ORMAL

ODE
If no actions are being performed on
your
keypad, it will remain in
Normal Mode. In Normal Mode the keypad will illuminate:
• The “AC” light if power is present.
• The numerical lights representing any open or tampered zones.
• The area lights if any areas are armed.
• The

EM
action light if any alarms have occurred.
• The
T
RBL
action light if any troubles are occurring.
