WARRANTY
Paradise Dock and Lift Inc. (“company”) warrants it’s boatlifts for non-commercial and non-
governmental use for a period of
• 3 years against manufacturing defects in aluminum lift frames,
• 3 years against defects in material and workmanship for hydraulic components, remote
control, charging systems, bunks, canopies power pack box, and accessories
to the original Purchaser (“purchaser”).
The company reserves the right to modify products at any time without incurring an
obligation to make similar modifications on products previously manufactured. Inspections
of the products frame, hydraulics, electronics, bolts and pins by a company employee or
authorized agent shall be conducted annually. Failure to undertake annual inspection shall
constitute “abuse” under the exclusions section.
Notice Requirements and Remedies:
If the purchaser discovers a defect, the purchaser shall immediately notify the company in
writing by submitting a warranty request to the company or authorized dealer. A warranty
request must include a copy of original invoice, serial number, purchaser name and address,
and detail or description of warranty claim. Upon receipt of a completed warranty request
form and after confirmation by the company that the product is defective, the company or it’s
authorized dealer or agent will (at the company’s discretion),
• repair the product,
• replace the defective part with a reconditioned or new part, or
• refund the price of the product.
Reasonable proof of the defect must be provided by the purchaser to the company or
company authorized agent for confirmation of the defect which may include return of the
product or part to the company for inspection at the company’s initial expense. Replacement
parts for products outside of Canada or the United States will be shipped on the next
authorized dealer shipment unless the purchaser agrees to pay for door-to-door freight on
the warranted product. Warranty replacement does not extend the original warranty period
of the defective product. Labor for warranty work is to be provided by company authorized
dealer for a period of 3 years from the warranty start date provided there is an authorized
dealer within 80km of the location of the product. Labor will not be provided for direct
purchases from the company or if an authorized dealer is not within 80km of the location of
the product.
Warranty requests received after expiration of the warranty term will not be covered under
this warranty regardless of when the defect was discovered or occurred.
