Checklist before Start Up
-
Is the pump plugged into a GFI socket?
-
Are all cables intact, not kinked?
-
Is the stator installed? (the stator also protects hands from
getting injured by the impeller. Never use the pump without the
stator)
-
Are there any objects inside the pump that can block the
impeller?
-
Are there any people inside the aquarium?
Installation
-
Pay attention to the safety instructions on page 5 and 6.
-
Make sure that the pump is unplugged before placing it in the
aquarium.
-
Please attach the pump only by the attachment points designed
for this purpose.
Either use the included magnet foot
bracket or the three M5 threaded
holes used to attach the magnet foot
bracket. Alternative hardware for
attaching the pump can be ordered
from Panta Rhei directly.
The dimensions for attachment can
be found on page 35
-
The hydro wizard generates very high axial forces. In addition to
this the inertia of the moving water will generate further forces
acting on the mount. If you decide to build your own mount
make sure that the attachment of the pump can handle forces of
80N.
