5.8.1.
CHARGE STATUS
The Charge Status indicates the state of the internal energy storage of the UPS, closely follows the front
panel CHG indicator. The following table shows the charge status based on UPS input and output
conditions.

5.8.2.
CHARGE SPEED
The Charge Speed indicates the current charge speed setting (“Slow” or “Fast”). The “Fast” charge
speed results in the fastest charge.

The factory default Charge Speed is set to “Slow” and may be changed by the user. Clicking on the
Charge Speed “CHANGE” button allows the user to change the default Charge Speed setting. A pop-up
window (shown below) queries the user to select the new Charge Speed setting. A check-mark in the
“SELECT” box indicates the current Charge Speed setting. Click the Fast or Slow “SELECT” button to
change Charge Speed setting. Click the “SAVE” button to change the Charge Speed setting for the unit.
Click the “CANCEL” button to cancel this change and go back to the current Charge Speed setting.
