Maintenance
An
authorized
service
technician
may
only
open
the
instrument.
Do
not
attempt
to
repair
this
device.
It
contains
no
user
‐
serviceable
parts.
Changing
the
battery
‐
Amplifier
probe
1.
Switch
OFF
the
device.
2.
Remove
the
screw
of
the
battery
compartment
using
a
proper
screwdriver
and
slide
off
the
compartment.
3.
Replace
the
flat
battery.
Pay
attention
to
the
polarity.
4.
Replace
the
battery
compartment
and
secure
the
screw.
5.
If
the
device
is
not
in
use
set
the
volume
control
to
“0”.
6.
If
the
instrument
is
not
used
for
a
longer
time,
remove
the
batteries.
Changing
the

Tone
generator
1.
Switch
OFF
the
device.
2.
Remove
the
screw
of
the
battery
compartment
using
a
proper
screwdriver
and
slide
off
the
compartment.
3.
Replace
the
flat
battery.
Pay
attention
to
the
polarity.
4.
Replace
the
battery
compartment
and
secure
the
screw.
5.
If
the
instrument
is
not
used
for
a
longer
time,
remove
the
batteries.
Cleaning
If
the
instrument
is
dirty
after
daily
usage,
it
is
advised
to
clean
it
by
using
a
humid
cloth
and
a
mild
household
detergent.
Prior
to
cleaning,
ensure
that
instrument
is
switched
off
and
disconnected
from
external
voltage
supply
and
any
other
instruments
connected.
Never
use
acid
detergents
or
dissolvent
for
cleaning.
