INITIAL TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS
Even if you have a trouble such as being unable to weld, unstable arc, bad welding result,
do not jump to the hasty conclusion that the welding machine is out of order. Even if the welding
machine has nothing wrong, the above-mentioned errors may occur because or something far from
a trouble, for example, blown or loosened fuse, unset or erroneously set switches, almost
disconnected cable, cracked gas hose.
Therefore, when you suspect the equipment of having a trouble, it is recommended for you to
check it prior to asking for a repair. It would solve not a few problems.
The following is an initial diagnosis list designed for general welding errors.
Find a relevant phenomenon among the error items in the upper right of the list, and
examine/check all the items marked with ○ in the blanks below that phenomenon.
For the fuses, the operation panel has a power fuse. and the printed circuit board has a motor
fuse and gas valve fuse, respectively.
