Connections
•
You are recommended to connect the recorder to the power cable via an
Automotive Distribution Center (manufactured by LIND ELECTRONICS, Inc.).
•
Connect the red (BATT) and white (SIGNAL) power cable wires via a fuse (10 A).
(A power cable is included in the separately sold Cable Kit.)
•
Be sure to consult the supplier to have the power cable installed and
connected.
•
Connect the power cable from the passenger compartment fuse box. Use a
commercially available automotive cable to provide power from the engine
compartment to operate the recorder in the passenger compartment.
•
Connect the power cable when all connections are completed. Be sure to read
the instructions in the connector diagram on pages 28 through 29 and the
operating instructions of the devices that will be connected.
•
Verify that recording is not in progress prior to disconnecting any cables from the
recorder. Be sure to disconnect the power cable first, and then disconnect any
other cables.
•
An incorrectly connected power cable could cause a fire or damage. Be sure to
connect the power cable correctly.
