Mounting bracket and ventilation
The recorder can be mounted by turning the mounting bracket 90 degrees in a
center console or trunk. The figure below is an example of mounting in a trunk.
(Factory default setting)
For center console mounting, remove the screw to remove the mounting bracket.
Rotate the mounting bracket 90° and attach the screw again.

Example of installation in a trunk
Step1
Loosen 4 mounting bracket attaching
screws to remove the mounting
brackets.

Step2
Drill 2 holes in each removed mounting
bracket, 4 holes in total.
Step3
Attach the drilled mounting brackets to
their original positions.
Recommended tightening torque:
1.5 N·m {1.11 lbf·ft}
Step4
Fix the recorder to the trunk with fixing
screws (4 pcs.) (M4 × 16 mm
{5/8 inches}*, locally procured).
* The screw length is an example when
installing the recorder on a robust
trunk floor with a thickness of 20 mm
{25/32 inches} or more.
Minimum pull-out strength:
196 N {44 lbf} (per 1 pc.)
