Arming the security system while windows and doors
installed with magnet switches are open causes the
audible security lock-up message ( page 227) to be
triggered, the "Check that all windows and doors are
locked." message appears, and the Security SET indicator
flashes in green. Close and lock the windows and front
entrance door to arm the security system. Touch
if you desire to disarm the security system.

The same message that plays from the base unit
also plays from the sub-base unit and extension
speakers if connected.
●
The system can be configured not to play the
message when the security system is armed. A
confirmation sound "beep" can also be enabled.
( See page 108 for information on the Security Off
Sound). (The sound used when disarming the
security system is also changed.)
●
The security system delay start message plays
while the user arms the security system. A
sound will be played 30 seconds before the
security system is armed. 15 seconds before
the security system arms, an audible
countdown is triggered every approximately
5 seconds until the security system arms. Once
armed, the audible "Security has been turned
on." message is triggered. (Default value)

The security system arms immediately for
both the windows and front entrance door
when all security system circuits are set to
"Security alarm delay setting: Off"
( page 108).

Arming Individual Security System
When the "Individual Security System" setting is enabled, the individual window and door circuits of
the security system can be armed separately.

When the call sub-base unit is connected, the base unit cannot be operated at the same time that
