Before Using

Insert the power cord into the AC
outlet and press the Power Key
.
•
If the screen is not in the home position, the
screen will move to home position and stop.
•
If a 2-digit number appears in the Display
Window, it is necessary to set the current
time. (

step 4 on page 30)
•
“
” will flash on the Display Window
when the thermal transfer film has run out.

Push down the printer open lever
and open the printer door.

Install the thermal transfer film.

Set the thermal transfer film, with the
blue gear in front, on the right.

Insert the blue shaft into the front left hole.

Place the blue gear on the front right
groove.

Place the white shaft on both sides of
the back grooves.

Tighten the film, then close the
printer door.

Rotate the blue gear in the direction of
the arrow to take up the slack on the
film.
•
If there is some slack, the thermal transfer
film will wrinkle, and blank (unprinted)
spots or lines will appear on the copy
paper.

Securely close the printer door until a
click is heard.

“
” flashing on the Display
Window will go out.
Notice
•
If “
” is still flashing after closing
the printer door, make sure that the
thermal transfer film has been installed
properly and tightened.
•
The printer door should be closed to make
copies properly. Confirm both latches are
locked.
Note
•
The supplied thermal transfer film roll is
short, and the number of possible copies
will differ from that of replacement film
rolls. We suggest that you stock
replacement film rolls.
