<Output waveform [control output (OSSD 1 / 2) ON]>
The receiver executes self-diagnosis of the output circuit when the device is in the light receiv-
ing state (ON state), and thus the output transistor turns OFF periodically. (Refer to the chart
below.)
When an OFF signal is fed back, the receiver determines that the output circuit is normal. If an
OFF signal is not fed back, the receiver determines that there is an output circuit or wiring error,
and the control output (OSSD 1 / 2) holds the OFF state.
CAUTION
Because the OFF signal of the device may cause the machine to malfunction, pay attention to the
input response time of the machine when connecting the machine to the device.
