Make settings to protect the projector from external attacks via LAN and unauthorized use.
Click [Detailed set up] → [Network security].

1 [COMMAND PROTECT]
Make settings for the connection authentication when using the
command control function.
[DISABLE]:
Connect to the projector in non-protected mode.
Connection authentication is not performed.
[ENABLE]:
Connect to the projector in protected mode.
The user name and password of the administrator account are
required for the connection authentication.
2 [Submit]
Update the settings.
If you click [Submit] with [DISABLE] selected in [COMMAND
PROTECT], a confirmation screen will be displayed. Click [OK] on
the confirmation screen to update the settings.

When [COMMAND PROTECT] is set to [DISABLE], connection authentication is not performed, making it vulnerable to threats on the
network. Be aware of the risks before making settings.

[Status notification] page
Set the push notification function. A push notification of updated information is sent to the application software
linked to the projector, such as the “Multi Monitoring & Control Software”, when there is a change in status, such
as occurrence of an error in the projector.
Click [Detailed set up] → [Status notification].

Enter the IP address of the notification destination.

[Notification port]
Enter the port number of the notification destination.
4 [Submit]
Update the settings.
