Maximum allowed air intake temperature at AHU DX coil heat exchanger in cooling mode is restriced to 30 °C DB.

Special conditions A: Using an AHU unit with a higher maximum allowed air volume fl ow is subject to a restriction of
the “Air intake temperature” to 30 °C DB (instead of 32 °C WB under standard conditions).

Special conditions B: Using an AHU DX coil heat exchanger with a larger volume is subject to the following
restrictions:
● an additional refrigerant charge (
R32
), which is required irrespective of an additional refrigerant
charge which might be needed due to an extended piping length (see calculation example below)
● AND a reduced maximum pipe length
● AND an ambient air temperature limit above which it may not be possible to pump down the com-
plete refrigerant charge (including all additional refrigerant) into the outdoor unit.
Note: The AHU DX coil must be designed according to Panasonic specifi cation.
