Detergent compartment
The following detergents and additives may
be added into this compartment:
- Detergent
- Drum cleaning detergent or bleach
Only when water flows over the detergent
compartment can the detergent flow into
the drum. Therefore, if you forget to add
detergent, please switch off the power, and
then re-switch on it and conduct spin-only
operation. Afterwards, add detergent and
restart the programme.
Detergent
1. Liquid detergent
CAUTION
Do not use liquid detergent in the
detergent compartment in the
programme with Prewash function.
Do not add detergent into the foam
generator compartment.
For the Wool programme, it is
recommended to use neutral liquid
detergent.
2. Powdered detergent
It is recommended to use low-foam
powdered detergent.
To prevent powdered detergent from
remaining in the drawer:
- Dry the inside of the detergent
compartments with a piece of cloth.
- Make sure that the detergent is not
lumpy when you add it, as this may
cause a blockage over time.
- If the detergent remains in the detergent
compartment, put it into the drum.
Amount of detergent
The amount of detergent you should use
depends on the following factors:
- The laundry soiling degree
- The amount of the laundry
- Water hardness
The foaming degree depends on the
amount and type of detergent, the laundry
soiling degree and the hardness and
temperature of the water.
