Tips for washing delicates
Putting laundry in the drum
Pile items one on top of each other.
※
Excessive clothes may cause vibration;
be sure to comply with the specified
standard capacity.
Detergents
- For wool items, use neutral liquid
detergent. Detergents of other types
may damage the clothes.
- With the Wool or Delicates programme,
you may need to use the Extra Rinse
function to remove excessive detergent
from the laundry. (See page 19)
Hanging the laundry
- Hang out white or light-coloured wool
and nylon items away from direct heat or
sunlight.
- After washing, lay out wool and nylon
clothes, and return them to their normal
shape before hanging in the shade. This
saves on ironing too.
- Hang wool items without folds or
creases, or spread them out to dry.
- Use hangers for shirts, blouses, and
trousers. You may wrap a towel around
the hanger to approximate the clothing’s
shoulder width so that the clothing will
retain its shape as it dries.
If clothing shrinks after being washed
Spread the clothing out to its original size
on an ironing board. Use dress pins to hold
the size and shape. Then, use an iron to
steam the clothing and leave it to dry.
