Keypad
All touchtone keys on the telephone.
Live Call Screening
(Available with DPT Integration only.) The PT functions like an answering machine. The subscriber
can hear the caller through the speakerphone or the handset while the message is being recorded.
Logical Extension (All Calls Transfer to Mailbox)
An extension that always receives calls directly into its mailbox. This feature is used by subscribers
who are often unavailable or who do not have a telephone.
Mailbox Capacity (recording time)
The total length of time for messages in a subscriber's mailbox: should be set between 5 and 100 min
or unlimited length by the System Administrator or the System Manager.
Mailbox Capacity Warning
A warning to inform subscribers to the paucity of recording time for their mailbox when the capacity
of recording time is less than setting.
Mailbox Extension
Normally the same number as the telephone extension number.
Mailbox Management
Allows a subscriber to alter the setting for personal mailboxes.
Menu
A list of choices from which the user can select by using the telephone keypad or the keys from a PC.
Message Envelope Playback Mode
Specifies the Message Envelope Playback Mode—the received date and time, the sender's
information (name, mailbox no. or phone no.) the information of transferred message, the type of
message.
(1) Before: The VPS announces Message Envelope before playing the recorded/transferred
message.
(2) After: The VPS announces Message Envelope after playing the recorded message.
(3) Require: The VPS announces Message Envelope when it is required by DTMF command.
Even if "Before" or "After" is selected in COS setting, subscribers can listen to Message Envelope by
pressing [2] and [3].
Message Manager
(Mailbox 998) The person who takes care of the General Delivery Mailbox and records: the Company
Greetings, Company Name, Custom Service Menus, Voice Labels, System Prompts, Multilingual
Selection Menu, System Caller Names, and On Hold Announcement Menu.
