Note:
R If you are talking on a landline call and then receive and answer a mobile call, the landline call is either
disconnected or put on hold, according to the
[Landline Call Handling] setting (see “App behavior
settings”, Page 79).
R Make sure to tap [Disconnect] when ending a landline call, even if the other party hangs up first.
Otherwise the connection to the landline will not be disconnected.
R If the hub is busy when you try to make a landline call, you may hear a busy tone.
R Mobile call features are not available when using iPad or an Android device that does not support
mobile calls.
Calling contacts

From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Phone] .

Open the [Contacts] screen.

Tap the desired contact and then select the desired phone number if necessary.

Tap [Landline] or [Smartphone] according to the line you want to use to make the call.

If you made a landline call, tap [Disconnect] to end the call.
Other features available during landline calls
The following features are available while talking on a landline call.
Keypad
Tap [Keypad] during a call if you need to enter numbers, such as when navigating a call center’s voice
guided menu system. To hide the keypad, tap [Cancel] .
For “pulse” or “rotary” line users (certain models only)
If hub is configured to use pulse dialing (see “Landline settings”, Page 81), you can use tone dialing
during a call as needed (e.g., when navigating a voice guidance system or entering an account number)
by first dialing

Audio output
Tap [Audio Source] (iPhone, iPad) or [Speaker] (Android devices) to select a different audio output
device.
Mute
Tap [Mute] during a call to mute your mobile device’s microphone so that the other party cannot hear
you. Tap [Mute] again to turn the mute off.
Hold
Tap [Hold] during a call to place the call on hold. Tap [Hold] to return to the call.
Flash/recall
Tap the flash/recall icon during a call to use your landline phone service’s recall feature, such as to
answer a second call or to switch between two different calls.
