6. Double Feed Detector (R) does
not work, properly. 1. Execute Double Feed test in Sec.9.3.6 to
check the detector condition.
2. Check whether the Double Feed
Detector (R) is aligned property.
3. Check the following connection and
soldering condition on each connector.
a. CN3005 (USR SENSOR Board) to
CN2005 (USR RELAY Board)
b. CN2001 (USR RELAY Board)
to CN1007 (CONTROL Board)
4. Check the following parts' soldering
condition to repair it.
a. CONTROL Board
IC0006 - 98th pin
b. USR RELAY board
All parts.
5. Check the following signals on the USR
RELAY Board.
a. DC 12 V signal (CN2001-8th pin)
b. DC 5 V signal (CN2001-7th pin)
6. Replace faulty parts or boards.
U25 (Detect document

and BENT PAPER SENSOR R (R) Board
are aligned properly.
3. Check the following connection and
soldering condition on each connector,
a. CN2007 (USS RELAY Board) to CN2030
(BENT RELAY Board)
b. CN2031 (BENT RELAY Board) to CN3013
(BENT PAPER SENSOR R (L) Board)
c. CN3014 (BENT PAPER SENSOR R (L)
Board) to CN3017 (BENT PAPER
SENSOR S (L) Board)
d. CN2032(BENT RELAY Board) to CN3015
(BENT PAPER SENSOR R(R) Board)
e. CN3016(BENT PAPER SENSOR R(R)
Board) to CN3018(BENT PAPER
SENSOR S (R) Board)
4. Check the following parts’ soldering
condition to repair it.
a. CONTROL Board
IC0015 (21, 23, 24, and 27th pins)
b. USS RELAY Board
IC2008 (2, 3, 4, 15, 18, 22, and
27th pins)
IC2001 to IC2003, IC2005, IC2006, Q2012
to Q2017, and their surrounding circuit.
5. Check the following signals
a. DC14 V signal (CN2006-12th pin and
CN2007-1st pin)
b. BPS_D_L (CN3017-3rd pin) and
BPS_D_R (CN3018-3rd pin)


6. Replace faulty parts or boards.
U30 (ADF Door or
